Kemah Restaurants

The restaurants are in alphabetical order.

Ancora – A favorite of locals, this great restaurant offers awesome food, live music and dancing.

Aquarium Restaurant – Great place to take out of town guest.  Dine with a beautiful aquarium of swimming fish, sharks, grey whales (joking) and more.

Bakkhus Taverna – On the main street into Kemah, don’t turn left to the Boardwalk.  Stay straight and it will be on your left.  A favorite of ours is the Greek Flaming Cheese, Saganaki.

Bubba Gump Shrimp – A Landry’s chain on the Boardwalk offering a fun spin on seafood and shrimps. (Watch the Movie!) Fun family dining with great views of the bay.

Crazy Alan’s Swamp Shack – Cajun Seafood and lot’s of it.  Great food and good prices.  Authentic Cajun digs.

Flying Dutchman – Seafood on the Boardwalk with a great view of the channel leading to Galveston Bay.  On nice days, sit outside and enjoy the boat parade.

Landry’s – On the Boardwalk next to the Amusement Rides.  Great seafood and more!

Playa Maya Tacos & Grill – South off 146 on the East side – Good Mexican fare with a full menu!  Good Margaritas too!

Prohibition 52 – A new restaurant located at 609 Bradford Ave #203 on the second floor of the complex.  Great space and outdoor dining looking down on the courtyard.  Fantastic food and great menu.  The Brussel Sprouts ar to die for, even if you don’t like Brussel sprouts. Try the meat loaf and the chicken fried steak!

Saltgrass Steak House –  A Landry’s chain near the Amusement Park, this is a southern style Steak house with great selection and the famous Wedge Salad.

T-Bone Tom’s – A local favorite and featured on TV’s Diners Drive-ins and Dives.  Relaxed atmosphere with good steaks, seafood and more.

Tookie’s Burgers – World renown for the best Burgers and onion rings in the area. Onion rings are incredible!
